Project 2

I felt like a change of pace from what i did last time, so when i was told the project was to be a drum and bass line, funk felt like the way to go. i found a couple of funky drum loops that i liked, and put them to the pattern system. after that, i took the boobass channel(excellant funky sound) and started messing around. i was actually rather surprised at how quickly i found a pattern i liked, especially with the note aspect added in. but that also became a very nice loop in only a few bars. i hope you like it too.

First Project

This is the first project for my music tech class, and I'm actually pretty happy about it. I started out just with a basic kind of dance or club pattern, and I put it together with additional patterns to fill it out and make it more interesting. But one of my favorite parts is the breakdown near the end where it flips to a quick little steel drum fill. The voice add-ins were just something that i found, liked, and found worked quite well with the song when applied correctly. Anyway, i hope that you enjoy this loop, as short and simple as it is.
